Practical Applications of Child-Centered Play Therapy in

Various Cultural Settings (4 CEs)

How This Training Can Help You

This training is one section of our larger Child-Centered Play Therapy Foundations Book Study based on the book Child-Centered Play Therapy by Rise VanFleet and colleagues.

Whether you are completing this course as a standalone training or as part of the full 12 CE bundle, we are glad you are here.

📕 Purchase or borrow a copy of Child-Centered Play Therapy. The book is yours to keep and can serve as a valuable resource throughout your play therapy journey.

🎓 Earn 4 APT and 4 NBCC non-contact continuing education hours by reading the assigned chapters, passing the course exam with a score of 80% or higher, and completing the course evaluation.

📚 This course focuses on how to view your practice and play room through a lens different from your own. You will also receive a bonus play room cultural scavenger hunt activity.

This course is one of four trainings included in the Child-Centered Play Therapy Foundations Book Study. Participants completing the full bundle may earn the following certificates:

• The History of Child-Centered Play Therapy: From Foundations to Present (3 CEs)

• Understanding Play Room Set Up, Themes and Techniques of Play Therapy (3 CEs)

• Involving Parents in Child-Centered Play Therapy (2 CEs)

• Practical Applications of Child-Centered Play Therapy in Various Cultural Settings (4 CEs)

Together, these four trainings provide 12 APT and 12 NBCC continuing education hours while covering foundational theory, history, cultural considerations, skills, methods, and parent involvement within a Child-Centered Play Therapy framework.

Need to save a section for a future RPT training phase? You can. Because each course has its own exam and certificate, participants may complete sections and claim CE credit when the hours are needed.

Purchased separately, these four trainings would cost $299. Save $149 when you purchase the complete CCPT Foundations Book Study Bundle.
