The Founding Owner & Instructor

I’m Gabrielle Anderson, the creative force behind Willow’s Crown.

I design trainings that blend neuroscience, play therapy, artistry, and soul so you can feel curious, confident, and inspired in your work, not stuck or rigid.

I’m an LGBTQIA+ ally, a lifelong learner, and a passionate educator who has guided thousands of therapists through trainings that make complex ideas clear, applicable, and alive.

I love showing how play therapy strategies can support not only children, but also skeptical teens, high-achieving adults, and even government officials.

My work is grounded in research and infused with spirit. I believe therapy is a sacred space where transformation unfolds, and I let that show when I teach.

Just as importantly, I don’t only teach skills; I intentionally build in practices that pump life and light back into therapists.

Every training offers moments of reflection and self-care to help you feel restored, inspired, and ready to bring your best self back to your clients.

You’re welcome here, and I’m excited to learn alongside you.

About Us

Our healing center is comprised of The Family Therapy Center & The WIllow’s Crown Meditation and Training Facility located in Lansdowne, Virginia

We offer counseling therapy to children, teens and adults, meditation to all AND professional training for therapists all across the country.

At the Willow's Crown, we teach from the heart and weave in connection, neuroscience and creativity whenever possible.

Self care, healing and education is what we stand for.

"I thought everything about this training was wonderful.

It was extremely organized, thorough, and inclusive to all learning styles.

Gabrielle gave specific examples for every scenario, which was so helpful in conceptualizing how to navigate similar situations in my own sessions with clients.

I also loved that there there was a session that happened in real time (sand tray training).

This training exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to take more!"

"I LOVED this training. The case examples and live demo (experiential cards) were

so helpful.

I could imagine using this with all kinds of clients (ages, presenting issues, identities, etc.).

I really appreciated the trainer's focus and emphasis on feeling the energy of the room and trusting yourself."

"I appreciate so many examples were shown in the training. It really helps me understand how to integrate learning."

"I had a great time listening and learning today.

I appreciated the (book club) group discussion format, and the perspectives that each participant brought to the room.

I have a lot to learn, and am thankful for the discussion surrounding CCPT and

issues such as cultural competency, touch, limit setting, and more"
